Safety is the prime concern in our school. No stone is left unturned as far as safety is concerned. A Fire Hose Reel has been installed on all floors of the building. The sub staff and few staff members have been trained to use the same. There was a demonstration by the officials from the company on the methodology of using the systems.
The school has its own Vehicles for Pick Up and Drop of students. Safety of students being ferried in the vehicles is our prime concern. The vehicles are equipped with First Aid Box with Basic First Aid Kit, Fire Extinguisher, Extra Railing Rods in the windows and an attendant who is advised to be vigilant at all times. Speed Governor is installed in all the 3 vehicles as per the specifications of Govt. of Tamilnadu. The School Transport Committee has been constituted as per the instructions from Tamilnadu State Government Transport Authority.
Great care is given to health and hygiene. School has the facility for sick room and basic first aid. Annual comprehensive health check is carried out by a team of doctors from a reputed hospital. The school has a full time trained nurse on its rolls to take care of minor injuries and first - aid.
School has a well equipped Audio Visual room for use of students and staff to enhance "Teaching Learning Process". The room is equipped with a CD player, VCD Player, LCD Projector, TV, Computer and e-beam Interactive White board.
The language laboratory is an audio or audio-visual installation used as an aid in modern language teaching. Language learning is not the same as learning any other subject. The four skills of reading, writing, listening
and speaking have to be practiced. Being able to communicate well is the most important factor when seeking a placement in a company or institution. Communication involves one’s ability to listen carefully so as to
grasp the meaning and to respond in turn with apt words and clarity of pronunciation.
It is very useful for assessing students' speech. It provides students with the technical tools to get the best samples of pronunciation
of the language. The electronic devices used in the laboratory will stimulate the eyes and ears of the learner to acquire the language quickly and easily. The laboratory’s collection is designed to assist learners in
the acquisition and maintenance of aural comprehension, oral and written proficiency, and cultural awareness. Hence, the language laboratory has become the need of the hour in any language learning process for communication.
We have a well stocked library with a diverse range of books which allow students to travel across time into different worlds. We have educational and recreational books as well as other multimedia resources for both, the students and staff, to access. The spacious, airy library has been designed to foster an interest in books and is intended to offer every child the opportunity to explore and develop his or her individual interests.
Each school has a computer lab that helps to develop a deeper understanding of technology. We ensure that basic knowledge of computer is given to a child right from Grade I. We have computer lab of latest hardware and software, giving them the infrastructure to test and enhance their computer skills.
Our laboratories is an integral part of our curriculum and pedagogy. These enable students to achieve a deeper understanding of concepts taught in the classroom by demonstrating to them applications and processes based on these concepts. In fact no learning would be fun without practical demonstration. We have built state-of-art laboratories for Math, Sciences and Computer. Each of these labs is equipped with a variety of subject-relevant equipment to allow for an experiential learning process, at a pace suitable to each child’s abilities. During lab hours, the students are supervised and assisted by qualified technicians and subject facilitators. Our Laboratories also focuses on measures to ensure Lab safety to avoid accidents.
Smart Boards We have ensured that every classroom is fitted with multimedia computers. We have got, interactive whiteboards or ‘smart boards’ which are connected to an overhead projector and the classroom computer. These boards are used along with educational software to help make teaching and learning an effectual, interactive and fun process.
